Babies have a plan of their own...
baby K was supposed to arrive about 3 weeks from now but she was ready to make her appearance sooner!! Turning this session from maternity to baby.
I think it is because she couldn't wait to meet her parents:o) Love how much they just adore her...
There is something so magical and pure about a sleeping baby. I sit for hours letting everything sink in, trying to hold on to this moment when she fits in my arms so perfectly, knowing that she will never ever be this small again. Wondering what she is dreaming.

Travis will always be the 15 year old boy that left love notes folded in triangles in my locker and Jettie is my little girl who will grow up too fast.
Janelle and Kevin are getting married in a few weeks!! Get something to drink, sit down and stay for awhile...there are a ton of favorites:o)

My first session after maternity leave is tomorrow along with a few meetings and I am so ready, excited, happy:o) Photography defines me...having the opportunity to capture moments in children, family and couples lives makes me a better wife and mom...I get to do what I LOVE, everyday!!! Can't wait for what this year will bring!

Travis is one of my favorite people in the world. Not only did he give me two pefect little people but he finds all the things I lose, knows exactly what to order me at the coffee shop, is free IT staff for Clary Pfeiffer Photography...
Note all the wires are nicely coiled with little color id bands. If this were me everything would be on my desk, not stored quietly away in a closet, much less, nothing would be in working order. Anyway, one of the greatest reasons I love Travis is he is really good at hanging things properly...
you know, with anchors and everything lining up. This is a very important trait for a photographers spouse;)

I will have pricing for the canvases I am now offering up in a few days. I can't say enough about how beautiful the color is and how they make such a great statement on the wall. If you have a print that you love I suggest getting it BIG on a canvas.

It's official, I am back at work which makes me happy...clients are my friends and coworkers, talking about the latest TV shows or the changing STL weather. I will miss the sleepy days with Jettie and wearing PJ's till noon and getting lost in great photographer's blogs, one of them Indie Art where I found this link for the awesome 2 month recap picture above. Enjoy!!
I'm really excited about the new image size on my blog. I was thinking of moving to a completely different provider because I was wanting big beautiful images but I didn't want to leave the year worth of blogging. Thanks to my husband helping me with the CSS, I say this like I totally know what it is...now, and the great customer service, here is large beautiful images.
Before and afters, I just love seeing the transformation!!! For every hour of shooting, 2 hours of editing go into finishing the images...I have to tear myself from the computer:o)
