Sometimes I just get a feeling about a couple, with Stephanie and Derek I totally got that feeling and my intuition was so right after spending the morning around downtown Chicago where Derek proposed to Stephanie. They are a perfect match, Stephanie is absolutely adorable and so energetic, always saying the cutest things and Derek is funny and kind.

The day started out on Navy Pier. How amazing are these colors?

This is when Stephanie and Derek asked if I had models on my blog because all the couples look so perfectly posed and beautiful. Nope, I've never had models on my site/blog, just real people doing what they to best, loving each other.

So why exactly can't I wait to see Stephanie in her wedding dress? Well besides the fact that she is going to be a knockout, she works at the best bridal store, Ultimate Bride. Will Stephanie be a glamousr bride, a classic bride, a romanitc bride, we will see;)

Lizzie is a nurse and Nate is a teacher. Together they are perfect and so warm, everything you want your nurse and teacher to be. Lizzie was so excited for the wedding day, I received a note that I carried with me all day, at the bottom was a request..."Most importantly tons of pictures of us having fun with the people we love!" Not a problem, Lizzie and Nate have LOTS and LOTS of people who love them and like to party!;)

I had the pleasure of the company and talent of Beth Berry. Along with the many fabulous images there were some funny ones of me bustling Lizzie's dress and talking with the groom but the best, me showing off my "photography yogo". Even I didn't know I could do this. Thanks Beth!

This family was so sweet and didn't mind a little rain. It poured moments before the session which made us think we would have to make a go for another day but the skies stayed clear for long enough.

It's no doubt were the adorable kids came from...

"The last time we did this was our wedding day!" I love getting pictures of just parents because it's true, most couples last pictures of just the two of them is on the wedding day. I'm out to change that;)

How amazing is this little girl AND the hair, makes me want to get a new do!

We are on our way home from the beautiful city of Chicago with full bellies and lots of IKEA. Yes I did have a wonderful time meeting Steph and Derek during their engagement session but more on them later this week and why I can't wait to see Steph's wedding dress. Until then, a little quiz with the fun pictures I took on my spankin new iPhone. The first commenter to answer all 4 correctly receives a treat from the store of the last quiz question picture.

We are making one a several road trips in the next month. Tomorrow we leave for Chicago one of my very favorite cities...the food, shopping, museums, what's not to love!! And the best part, I have a engagement session with Derek and Stephanie, a couple I already know will be awesome to work with. I can't wait to meet them, find out their love story and get a few pics at the location where Derek proposed.

I am going to make this a real vacation, no computer or phone...OK so maybe I'll get the new iPhone while shopping on Michigan avenue;) Any emails or inquiries will be returned when I am in the office on Tuesday, thanks so much for your patients!

Now for the pictures, this is a monumental week for me. My first official client under CPP had a baby brother and now the first client that contacted me about boudoir photography is having a baby at any moment!! The very talent Christie is another person that helped me along the way and I am so thankful for her as a client and friend. This picture is going up on my wall, I love the light, beautiful belly and the necklace that Christie!

While getting some close belly pictures like the one above, their first born decided to put a paw in as well. So adorable!!

Christie and Roger are waiting for a surprise...but I saw this picture and have a hunch 'it's a girl!'. Time will tell.

WOW!! Coey and Laura had such love filled wedding day with all their family and friends. I must say...you all are awesome!! I now know why Coey and Laura are so kind and caring.

Laura was named after her great-grandma who wore this pin on her wedding day. If you look really close you can see the many other women who wore the pin on their wedding day.

Kristy and Jacob met each other during the freshman year, in fact the first week of school while shopping for nessecities Jacob saw Kristy and droped a line she couldn't refuse;) Kristy played soccer and Jacob played football so the school itself as a location is one thing but this field is another. We tried to break in but they locked that thing up pretty good. Fortunately Jacob saw where we could get a view of the whole thing. Love it!!

Kristy and Jacob, you guys are a blast and your wedding will be here in no time. Can't wait!

I have so much to blog and share that I will be post almost everyday but I just had to show off who is 6 months old today...

Can you believe it?! Jettie is now sitting up but she was too cute sprawling out on the floor and I figured there won't be any laying down pictures from here on out.

I want to say thank you for all my thoughtful clients and friends for sending out well wishes for Jettie and asking how she is doing. On Friday she has a bronchoscopy to verify that she has tracheamalacia which is good after all the other test we been through so this should be the last. I know, tracheamalacia sounds like a big bad word but really she just has a trachea that is floppy like a balloon. When she breaths, eats, cries, coughs she has trouble because the airway collapse. The trachea will harden after time so it's just waiting for that. Again, thank you everyone because it really means so much!

Cara and Cody are such a match, even their names are perfect together and make me sing...Cara and Cody sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S...

The light is so pretty I have to post more than one.
