And Carmina's fiancee Faisal is one of the sweetest guys I have photographed. They were so nervous and excited, making me a little nervous as well to tell you the truth. But then I took the first few shots...

Hilary and Matt had a whirlwind wedding week..they flew in from California, had an engagement session with their beloved Brooklyn and Rocco, finished all the wedding details (you will see on Friday) and got married. Now on to the engagement pictures!!

Yes I know!! Gorgeous! I love the way Hilary gazes at Matt.

Magic between these two!!

So like all my fabulous couples, Hilary and Matt didn't blink when I asked them jump over waterfalls, sit on concrete or lay grass but every time Matt would hop right up really fast. I noticed a little dust on the handsome suit and joked "it's not like that's the one for the wedding or anything?!" Matt laughed "it is"! "What?! You so should have told me this!"

Sometimes I just get a feeling about a couple, with Stephanie and Derek I totally got that feeling and my intuition was so right after spending the morning around downtown Chicago where Derek proposed to Stephanie. They are a perfect match, Stephanie is absolutely adorable and so energetic, always saying the cutest things and Derek is funny and kind.

The day started out on Navy Pier. How amazing are these colors?

This is when Stephanie and Derek asked if I had models on my blog because all the couples look so perfectly posed and beautiful. Nope, I've never had models on my site/blog, just real people doing what they to best, loving each other.

So why exactly can't I wait to see Stephanie in her wedding dress? Well besides the fact that she is going to be a knockout, she works at the best bridal store, Ultimate Bride. Will Stephanie be a glamousr bride, a classic bride, a romanitc bride, we will see;)

This is where Derek proposed to Stephanie in a little park by the beach, outside the city.

Check out this adorable couple sitting at the place where they met and soon feel in love.

The first three photos are some of my favorite because it could be any couple kissing, wispering, loving.

Jodie said that her and Matt's first date was junior highish...soda shop and mini golf but I think it is just perfect and it made for lovely picture opps like cramming into a phone booth, wonder if they got this close on the first date?

Where it all started.

Becky's ring is just so beautiful that I had to include "the ring shoot" I always take during an engagement session.

I'm a visal person, obviously. So when I first met Dallas without Tommy she pulled out a folded piece of paper with a picture of Tommy, I defiantly got a kick out of it!!

Dallas has some beautiful locks. When the wind picked up it would swirl around like you see in the hair commercials, Dallas kept trying to tame it. After I said "just let it go" Tommy was so sweet "you're always saying you like Clary's stuff, listen to her". Thanks Tommy;)

The location had lots of brick and...

budding spring trees so I used it to our advantage.

I saved the best for last.

Alissa and Jarrod are so much fun and so in love, you can't go wrong with a session when you have these two things..and some crazy, windy weather piled on the goodness. Thanks for enduring the cold guys, it was worth it right?!:o)

Pete and Lindsey are getting married...in 11 DAYS!!! Don't mean to scary you guys but yes 11 days. We had to reschedule on numerous occasions because the rainy weather just wouldn't cooperate. I know weather talk is usually "small talk" but when your a photographer or it's your upcoming wedding day, the weather is HUGE talk.

Their place was right around the perfect special date restaurant, and so beautiful...I just had to get some shots of them sitting on the step leading up to the front door.

How beautiful of a day did we finally end up with?!
