Melissa has so much grace and is so put together, I knew this by the first few emails. She gave me the lowdown, including pictures, of how Melissa and Joe became a couple. Even what makes Joe so special to Melissa, "he always knows how to make me laugh, especially when I need it most". Come wedding day is was dark and rainy but with all of Melissa's DIY (most impressive dying her wedding shoes with Kool-aid, you read right Kool-aid), beauty and willingness to jump out of the limo between the rain showers for a few shots right by her grandparents general store, the wedding day was perfect and classic.
Lovely as always! One of Griff's buddies was in this wedding...he was the giant sized one :)

I really like all the pops of yellow. I can't believe that was with kool-aid!

it's crazy how even though it might have been ugly outside, the colors and skin tones transfer so wonderfully to camera!! Stellar color palette the bride picked...and stellar photography, Mrs. P. :)

What a beautiful wedding and BEAUTIFUL bride! Her lashes are like 10 miles long- soooo pretty. Clary- looking at your pictures always make me so happy and hopeful! They capture so many beautiful emotions and moments. Almost as good as pictures of puppies... but you know, that's a pretty hard act to follow ;)

These are beautiful! I really love all the detail shots and I giggled at the story of her shoes.
P.S. Thanks for the idea of the 'no carry' rule. I am definitely going to implement that immediately!
